The Sundance offers live bull riding in the outdoor arena behind the Sundance Friday and Saturday nights in the late spring and early fall. All ages are welcome, bring your entire family!
Our stadium seating provides top views of Fort Collins' very own live bull riding experience. Our outdoor concessions stand serves hamburgers, hot dogs and brats, as well as nachos, soda, beer and more. The restaurant is also open inside the Sundance if you prefer a more formal dining experience before the rodeo!
Bull Riding Contestants
Rodeo contestants over the age of 18 may compete in the Friday and Saturday events. Contestants are required to bring their own equipment.
Each night payouts will be dispersed at an awards ceremony inside the Sundance. On the final night of each series, the top 10 contestants will compete for a saddle, buckles, cash and other top prizes.
Sign Up and Registration
Contestants
must call in by 5 p.m. Thursday in order to compete for that weekend. Call Kevin at 970-454-3633, and leave a message indicating which event you wish to register for and the date. Sorry, NO CHECKS - only cash, debit and credit cards accepted.
You must be checked-in a minimum of 1 hour prior to the start of the event!
Mutton Bustin' Contestants
Little Cowboys and cowgirls may compete in our Mutton Bustin' event each night. They must be at least 4 years old and not weigh over 55 pounds. Every child will be provided with a full-face mask helmet and protective vest if they do not have their own equipment. There is an entry fee to ride. Entries close at 7:15 p.m.
